💡 Study Tips for These Courses
- Mechanism of Action (MOA): For Pharmacology, don't just memorize the drug name. Understand the receptor it hits. If you understand the Physiology (from Pathology), the Pharmacology becomes logic, not magic.
- "Pots & Slides": In Pathology, pay attention to the "POTS & SLIDES" sessions mentioned in the timetable. Google images of "Gross specimen of [Disease]" and "Histology of [Disease]" for every topic you read.
- Lab Values: For Chemical Pathology and Haematology, create a cheat sheet of normal reference ranges (Reference Intervals) early on. You will need these for every case study.
- The "Why": When studying Chemical Pathology (Urinalysis), ask why protein appears in urine (Pathology: Glomerular damage) and how we treat it (Pharma: ACE inhibitors). Connect the dots!
